Citizens dispose their unwanted, excess and expired prescription medications in addition to over the counter medications can now utilize a safe, anonymous, and secure location drop off box located in the lobby of the New Milford Police Department. This will assist in reducing the supply of drugs that could potentially harm teens and adults in addition to protecting our environment from the improper disposal.

The New Milford Policy Department lobby is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The discarded medication is processed as an abandoned property and safely incinerated. Citizens can drop of the medication free of any questions and do not have to fill out any forms. Please, do not bring liquid medications or needles.
